In this bedroom you have direct access to the mezzanine; - A comfy mezzanine with one single bed; - A spacious living area with a wooden ceiling, decorated with classic and beautiful furniture, with a fireplace, sofa, cable TV, A/C, and a dining area where you can enjoy your meals; - A well-equipped kitchen that comes with all the appliances and utensils you may require to prepare a delicious homemade meal; - A complete bathroom. Sintra is one of those places full of magic and mystery where nature and man combined in such a perfect symbiosis, that UNESCO classified it as a World Heritage. We can find in the village of Sintra testimonies from practically all periods of Portuguese history and you will see the largest number of castles and palaces in one region, many of them looking like they came out of fairy tales. You also find a wide variety of restaurants and cafés within walking distance of the property. Sintra is particularly known for the Queijadas de Sintra and Travesseiros, delicacies that can be sampled in several nearby pastry shops. 200 meters from the "Casa Pequena by LovelyStay" (around the corner from the restaurant "A Mourisca") you start the "Calçada da Penalva" (near Quinta da Penalva), a path that goes past the Trindade Convent. 100 meters after the convent, on the left, you will start the stairway to the Moorish castle/ Palácio da Pena. If instead of going up the stairs you go straight ahead, you pass the church of Sta Maria, and you arrive in the center of the town of Sintra (Palacio da Vila). From the house to the Moorish castle/ Palacio da Pena on foot - 30 minutes From the house to the center of town on foot (by Calçada da Penalva,) 20 minutes. Other than that, the local views are breathtaking.
