Senior Backend Developer | Web developer

A proactive, goal oriented Senior Back-End Developer keen on delivering excellence. From Intermediate to Senior levels.

What is your mission?

  • Evolutive maintenance of the company property management system, using NodeJs, TypeScript and PostgreSQL;
  • Optimize our PostgreSQL database, namely data structures, indexes, and overall architecture;
  • Improve existing tests, both in terms of coverage and speed of execution;
  • Review pull requests from others in a constructive, efficient way;
  • Maintain our server infrastructure.

What do we need?

  • At least 3 years’ experience with web back-end development;
  • Experience with NodeJs using TypeScript or JavaScript is strongly valued;
  • SQL/Relational Databases knowledge: PostgreSQL preferably, but SQL Server or Oracle are acceptable;
  • Automated Test Experience;
  • You prefer Linux and you have command-line expertise;

Senior IT Support

A proactive and goal-oriented IT Support.

What is your mission?

  • Network maintenance;
  • Quickly address any issues the team has with their hardware and software;
  • Online support of our software – should get to know it very well, solving all recurrent issues;
  • Maintain our office(s) IT infrastructures and manage all equipment;
  • Orders of new equipment, sourcing of best prices, partnership negotiation;
  • Documentation for all internal processes.
  • Keep an updated inventory of all existing IT equipment;
  • Support on network configuration / ISP negotiation for new buildings under LovelyStay management;
  • Plan ahead and implement any new solutions necessary.

What do we need?

  • At least 2-5 years’ experience in similar position/function;
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining networks and network equipment;
  • Experience with both Windows and Linux system administration;
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken – we are an international team);
  • Programming knowledge (or a strong will to learn) is very welcomed – but not a strict need;
  • Team player, communicative and always attentive to people needs;

  • Actively participate strategically in the department and company
  • Support our operation of around 15-20 apartments in the above-mentioned geographical area.
  • Perform regular quality control visits or in between reservations (cleaning, maintenance, equipment verification).
  • Represent the company in welcoming providers, equipment & services.
  • Perform check-ins when needed or follow up on clients’ reservations.
  • Be present during deliveries or maintenance.
  • Buying and delivering needed equipment.

What do we need?

  • Have a degree, preferably in something you enjoyed.
  • Have experience in a job role where you dealt with clients, either in a sales or account management position - even if we understand that business development is a profile!
  • Mandatory: Portuguese (fluent/proficient) and English skills (fluent/proficient).
  • You’re able to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and are used to working towards targets.
  • Excellent communication skills - a good salesman is a good storyteller.
  • Self-motivated: has no problem being self-accountable and reliable to working alone, used to working towards targets and commissions.
  • Be client-oriented and have interdisciplinary and inter-department capabilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset, strategical thinking, and research skills (ability to analyze situations, anticipate, identify, and define problems).
