The apartment is located on Rua de Santa Catarina, one of Porto’s most iconic pedestrian streets, filled with cafés, boutiques, and local charm. If you're arriving by metro, the closest station is Bolhão (Line D), just a 3-minute walk away. From the airport, take the metro (Line E) to Trindade, then switch to Line D toward Santo Ovídio. For those driving, note that Santa Catarina is mostly pedestrianized — we recommend parking at Parque Silo Auto, just a 5-minute walk from the property. Once you're nearby, look for the building number and buzz the flat directly. For easier access, travel light and avoid rush hours, especially on weekends.

This apartment is situated in downtown Porto, right in the heart of the city, meaning there are plenty of interesting sites to visit around the area, such as Mercado do Bolhão (the last traditional market of Porto), São Bento train station and Lello bookshop. It is the best neighborhood in Porto for: solo travelers; young couples; or groups of friends traveling together. Places worth visiting nearby: - Aliados Avenue - Tower and Church of Clérigos - Lello bookstore - São Bento train station – typical Portuguese tiles can be found on the inside - S. Francisco Church - Dom Luís I Bridge – an iconic symbol of Porto - Galerias de Paris - a popular nightspot, often frequented by locals. - Majestic Café - The most historical café in Porto - Rua de Santa Catarina - a popular shopping spot filled with international stores, amazing restaurants, and cafés. - Guindais Funicular - Port Wine cellars - situated in Gaia, on the other side of the bridge!
Como se deslocar
While the flat's privileged location allows you to easily visit the main attractions on foot, Bolhão metro station is located just a 2 minute walk away from the flat. All the other primary modes of transportation, namely the trains, taxis, trams and buses are also all at a walking distance from the apartment, thus you will have easy access to the entire city. Please note that Rua de Santa Catarina is a pedestrian street with no car traffic (only authorized vehicles for unloading and emergencies).
