Located in a great area to get to know the Municipality of Sesimbra, 1.5 km from the beach of Sesimbra, 6 km from the beaches of Meco and Lagoa Albufeira, and 8 km from Cabo Espichel, it is certain that you will have a wonderful stay and enjoy all the charms of this magical place. Be sure to visit the "Portinho da Arrábida" beach (20 min drive) one of the most beautiful in Europe. Grocery stores: Coviran de Almoinha (10 min walk) Sesimbra Market Bakery/pastry shop: Casa do Campo (15 min walk). Bread made in-house Children's playground: Corredoura playground (15 minutes on foot) Almoinha Calisthenics Park (15 min walk) Take-away restaurants: Olinda's Kitchen (10 min walk) Recommended restaurants: all use fish caught by Sesimbra fishermen the night before—dishes made with the freshest fish and seafood ever. Great for take-away. The best and most tender fried cuttlefish in the area. Monkfish or octopus rice with fish from the Sesimbra Dock. All made with fish from Sesimbra caught the night before. Pharmacies: Sofarida Santana (15 min walk) Taxi rank: A 15-minute walk away, in Largo Capitaes de Abril, next to Milenium BCP Peixaria (the best fresh fish in Sesimbra): Peixaria Brazinha (10 min walk away) Beaches not to be missed: Praia do Meco Portinho da Arrabida Sesimbra beach Paria do Galapos (there is good access by stairs to the beach and you can get to Galapinhos beach from the sand) Ostras Marotas - Perfect for birthdays or small celebrations. Guests can optionally book a local oyster service, Ostras Marotas, owned by Niclas and Victoria, who can come to the house to serve fresh oysters during your event or stay. This service is arranged and paid for separately and is not affiliated with the host.
