If you're coming by plane, get on the metro at the airport, get off at Trindade and change lines to the yellow one, Santo Ovidio bound. Two stations later, at São Bento, get off and walk 2 minutes to the flat. We also arrange transfers to and from the airport/major train stations to the apartment! Contact us for more details :-)
O bairro
Sé is a neighborhood where there are plenty of interesting sites to visit around the area, such as Mercado do Bolhão (the last traditional market of Porto), Lello bookshop and São Bento train and metro station, which is only 2 minutes away from the flat. It is the best neighborhood in Porto for: solo travelers, young couples or groups of friends traveling together. Places worth visiting nearby: - Aliados Avenue - Tower and Church of Clérigos - Lello bookstore - São Bento train station – typical Portuguese tiles can be found on the inside - S. Francisco Church - Dom Luís I Bridge – an iconic symbol of Porto - Galerias de Paris - a popular nightspot, often frequented by locals. - Majestic Café - The most historical café in Porto - Rua de Santa Catarina - a popular shopping spot filled with international stores, amazing restaurants, and cafés. - Guindais Funicular - Port Wine cellars - situated in Gaia, on the other side of the bridge!
Como se deslocar
While you can easily visit all the main spots on foot, São Bento train & metro station are only at a 2 minute walk away from the flat. All the other modes of transportation, namely the taxis, trams and buses are all close to the apartment, thus you will have easy access to the entire city.
