With a prime location in the heart of the city, in the downtown area, the apartment is situated in Figueira Square, where you will find the extremely popular Café Suiça and also the delicious traditional pastries of the Confeitaria Nacional, which opened in the early 19th century and at the time was widely regarded as one of the most elegant pastry shops on the continent. Here is a bronze King John I, who sits on horseback and forms the centerpiece, often covered with pigeons. This vibrant and cosmopolitan area hosts a variety of charming antique bookstores, local and international fashion brand stores, restaurants, bars, and is within walking distance of Lisbon's typical and historic neighborhoods, as well as from the monuments and main tourist attractions in the center of the capital, also from here it is easy to get to almost all other areas of the city, with the subway, bus, and train right at the door. Other local attractions: GARRET STREET The easiest way to get to Baixa-Chiado is through Rua Garret.
