A small town located between Lagoa and Albufeira in the Algarve, Porches is known for some of the most beautiful pottery you could ever come across! If you are looking for things to do in the area, your first stop should certainly be one of its many pottery stores. Wind your way through the dozens of pieces available at Casa Grande, or watch the local artists as they hand paint their work at Porches Pottery. Aside from the pottery stores, life in Porches revolves around going to the pristine beaches in the area, such as the enormous Armação de Pêra. Several water activities are available here, such as surfing, scuba diving, and sailing, thus it's perfect for people of all ages!
