Located a little to the north of Lisbon, the parish of Lumiar offers easy access to the heart of the city. There's plenty to see here. If you like outdoor activities, you can get in touch with the Paço do Lumiar golf course or relax in the fresh air and green space of the Quintas das Conchas and Lilases Park or Oeste Park. Sports fans will love being able to support one of the local clubs, as the region's José Alvalade Stadium hosts Sporting Clube de Portugal soccer matches. For a bit of art and culture, stop by the Theater and Dance Museum or the Costume Museum, which has more than 30,000 items from the 18th and 19th centuries. When it comes to dining, there are Italian, Asian, and Portuguese restaurants, as well as many cafés. Lumiar has a few stations on Lisbon's yellow metro line, making it easy to get around.
