Location
Guests that arrive by plane have several options of transportation. There are always taxis in the airport. Or if you wish to use public transport you can take the metro from the airport. Take the E line, leave at Trindade station and then change to line D and leave in São Bento. End trip ( +/ - 30 minutes) at S. Bento station in the city center. Guests are at 5min walk from the apartment.
The neighbourhood
The apartment is located right next to one the liveliest streets of Porto, Rua das Flores, right in the heart of the city. The neighborhood is also very safe and is closely located to every iconic landmark of the city. In this neighborhood you will find an historical and cultural environment blended with a modern street view. The apartment is surrounded by a series of different shops and restaurants, both sophisticated and local, for every kind of guests, allowing guests to fully enjoy Porto´s culture. Furthermore it also has the basic services, such as supermarkets and pharmacies, at an agreeable walking distance. This apartment encounters itself at a few minutes distance from "Ribeira" area, which is located along side the river, where guests are able to see the Porto wine cellars.
Getting around
Many of the main attractions of Porto are located at an agreeable walking distance. The beautiful and magnificent "São Bento" train station is located 3 minutes walking distance. This will allow you to go to "Campanha" Train station where trains from Lisbon or any other major cities arrive. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the airport.
