Location
From the airport, the A5 highway will take you to Cascais in 45 minutes. By just a walk of up to 15 minutes, you'll get to the train station (which serves the Cascais line of the train map and can, later, connect to others).
The neighbourhood
Following the riverside from Lisbon, you will get to the most beautiful fisherman's village, filled with old palaces and little streets that will amaze you in every step. The Beach reaches Sintra's mountain range, and to get there you will go through one of the most beautiful roadsides to side with the ocean with many different viewpoints. -CIDADELA: The old fort built to protect the city is nowadays one of the favorite places for locals to go on special dates and private parties in the heart of Cascais. - PARQUE MARECHAL CARMONA: The singular garden with a mini zoo and a lot of activities for the little ones should be perfect for a relaxed afternoon. - BAÍA DE CASCAIS: This is the central open square facing the ocean, where the local parties are placed and surrounded by a lot of restaurants and bars. - PRAÇA LUIS DE CAMÕES: The back part of Bahia de Cascais, with a lot of drinking bars and terraces to lunch and dine, near a lot of local souvenirs shops. - ESTORIL: The nearby neighborhood, known for the Casino and its gardens, place for a lot of different concerts and shows. Here you can also find Tamariz disco open in the summer season with an amazing ocean view.
