Location
The best way to get to the flat from the airport is to rent a car or get a taxi/uber. However, if you prefer public transportation, you can get on the 601 bus (cordoaria via mar shopping bound) -> 25 stops later, get off at Boavista-Casa da Musica -> get the 504 bus (norteshopping bound) -> 9 stops later, get off at Paulo da Gama -> walk 4 minutes to get to the apartment.
The neighbourhood
Foz do Douro, literally meaning the mouth of the Douro, is a quaint fisherman town close to the city of Porto. It has miles of beautiful, clean beaches and beach bars/restaurants to choose from. There are many landmarks and sculptures showing off Portugal's rich culture. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet compared to the hustle of the city but within reach of everything.
Getting around
Guests can take a short stroll into Porto (in around 30-40 mins) or jump on the tram (50m outside the apartment), take a bus to the city (also 50m outside the apartment), or über. If you hire a car, there is free street parking outside the apartment.
