Location
If you are arriving by plane, take the metro at the airport (Line E - Purple) and leave in Trindade station. Leave the station and it's only a 3-minute walk to the apartment, in Rua do Bonjardim, number 412. Your destination will be on the left side of the street Other two Metro Station are nearby: Aliados (250mts) and Bolhão Station (300 mts). The neighbourhood
The apartment is located in the heart of the city center, between the Aliados Avenue and Bolhão Traditional Market, in one of the most typical and oldest streets of Porto. Despite being in such a central zone, the street is quiet and the apartment provides a restful night's sleep. More about the neighborhood: Baixa is a neighborhood situated right above the Ribeira. There are plenty of interesting sites to visit around the area, such as Mercado do Bolhão (the last traditional market of Porto), São Bento train station and Lello bookshop can be found here. It is the best neighborhood in Porto for: solo travelers; young couples; or groups of friends travelling together. Places worth visiting nearby: - Aliados Avenue - Tower and Church of Clérigos Lello bookstore - São Bento train station – typical portuguese tiles can be found on the inside - S. Francisco Church - Dom Luís I Bridge – an iconic symbol of Porto - Galerias de Paris - a popular night spot, often frequented by locals. - Majestic Café - The most historical café in Porto - Rua de Santa Catarina - a popular shopping spot filled with international stores, amazing restaurants and cafés. - Guindais Funicular - Port Wine cellars - situated in Gaia, on the other side of the bridge!
