Location
To get to the apartment, If you are arriving by plane, it would be best to take a taxi or book an airport transfer with us since the metro doesn't go stop in Foz.
The neighbourhood
Portugal is well known for its beaches, and the ones in Porto are no exception. The Foz beach is a coastal gem whereby you can unwind, enjoy the sun and the salty air. If you get too hot, you can easily cool down at one of the beach bars around the area. To really blend in with the locals, you can order a gin-based drink and relax while you´re at it. You will certainly be struck by the areas lovely quality of life, and romantic walkways that are perfect for enjoying the evening sun. These beaches proudly display the blue flag eco-label, a sign of high quality unpolluted seawater. Getting around
To visit the historical center, classified as World’s heritage by the U.N.E.S.C.O, the more adventurous can go through the 6km along the river by foot or bike. Or, if you prefer, you can take the picturesque electric tram, the tourist bus, or even take the common bus nº 500 and travel around like a local! All the bus stops are just down the road from our apartment (just 2 minutes away!)
