During the day, we discovered a colorful and peaceful neighborhood. The animations take place on the banks of the restaurant terraces that emanate the smell of traditional cuisine. On Rua do Norte, fashion boutiques are growing. At night, the streets are filled with passers-by from all over the world, who live happily in Porto's bars or at a concert with live music. On the same street, you will be impressed by the baroque architecture of the imposing Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição dos Cardais, founded in 1681 as a Female Monastery of Discalced Carmelites.
